There are 1-2-1 Gym based personal trainers and they often will do 2-1 which may suit you better.

Small or large group style personal training to get you more motivated or class environment.

Outside or inside, some will come to your home if you have the space.

What credible qualifications do they have if any and do they do CPD

Have they got any qualifications in nutrition as this is a vital part of your personal training package.

How often will you get tested to see how you are progressing and what test will they do.

last week at my gym I saw one personal trainer on his phone more or less the whole time he was training someone, if this ever happens to you get rid of them!!
